Talk with your child about their career goals and the Australian Apprenticeship which will best support these goals. Discuss and develop strategies together to balance work, training, transportation etc. Discuss the responsibilities involved in being a paid member of the workforce and show an interest and talk to your child about their day at work. Encourage your child to talk about any issues they may be facing. Communication is the key!
